The 'dub' in CodeDub is owed to the tape loops of the Eighties and earlier--dubb reggae and other innovations. The ability to take a sound recording (by our analogy to raw source code) and reorganize, splice, loop, and reimagine the output may provide a hint to the goal of the CodeDub engine.
